Tucán, an Argentinian SaaS platform for restaurant e-commerce, logistics, and marketing, raised $1M in a seed round led by Shefa, the venture capital arm of IRSA Group. Three local gastronomic groups also participated in the round.
Tucán will allocate the capital to strengthen its technology and customer support infrastructure to scale and handle increasing order volumes effectively.
Launched in 2020, Tucán enables restaurants to manage online sales and delivery logistics through its integrated platform. The founding team consists of Agustin Perrotta, Facundo Caldora, and Facundo Gregorini, three engineers from Argentina.
The SaaS venture supports restaurants in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, and Paraguay, and aims to expand throughout the rest of Latin America with a special focus on Mexico.
