Uruguayan fintech Prometeo announced the launch of its Account-to-Account (A2A) payment solution in Mexico. This solution allows businesses to integrate direct bank transfers into their digital channels through a single API.
Prometeo is an Open Finance platform that develops API infrastructure to connect businesses with bank information and payments from financial institutions.
Prometeo’s A2A payments solution is now available in Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Mexico, and Ecuador. The Open Banking platform recently closed a $13M Series A funding round aiming to expand its multi-banking data and payment offerings.
