Letrus raises $7.4M to reach 1M users

Brazilian edtech Letrus raised $7.4M in a round led by Crescera Capital with the participation of Owl VenturesAltitude VenturesFundação Lemann, and VélezReyez+.

Letrus will use the funds to invest in marketing and product, with hopes to grow the platform to 1M students in the next two years. 

Founded in 2015, Letrus is an AI-powered platform used by schools to help students develop reading and writing.

To date, 180,000 students across 630 schools in all 27 states of Brazil use the platform.
