Agrotoken, a tokenization infrastructure startup for agricultural commodities, closed a pre-series A round of $12.5M led by Bunge Ventures. Other investors include Visa, Borderless Capital, Xperiment Ventures, and Newtopia VC. This achievement follows an initial investment of $2M from Visa in November 2023.
“We are thrilled to incorporate Bunge as an investor because it demonstrates the trustworthiness of our technological infrastructure and the path we are building,” said Eduardo Novillo Astrada, CEO and co-founder of Agrotoken.
Agrotoken will use the funds to keep growing, develop new products, and expand card issuance to new countries.
