Chilean healthtech FarmaLoop secured $900K in a round led by Amarena VC. The round valued FarmaLoop at $18M.
FarmaLoop is an online pharmacy that connects pharmaceutical labs and patients, providing discounts on products nearing expiration.
“Over 100 million people in Latin America grapple with chronic health conditions, where medication expenses constitute 60% of a family’s health budget,” said Michel Tesmer, FarmaLoops’s Co-Founder and CEO.
In 2023, FarmaLoop generated $3.5M in revenue and saved 200,000 medications, delivering $880M in savings to over 300,000 chronic patients. The company plans to expand into Mexico by 2025.
