Cleantech Kilimo raised $7.5M in a Series A round led by Emerald Technology Ventures. The Yield Lab Latam, Salkantay Ventures, Kamay Ventures, and iThink VC also participated in the funding.
Kilimo will use the funds to expand its operations to the US and Europe.
Kilimo helps farmers manage and optimize water usage and sells the generated surplus water to companies.
Kilimo operates in seven Latin American countries, including Argentina, Mexico, and Chile, and has helped over 2,000 farmers save 72B liters of water.
