Colombian AI-powered SaaS Celes secured $3M in a seed round led by Femsa Ventures. MatterScale Ventures, Rockstart, Primeline Group, Wayra Hispam, Kuiper VC, NOA Capital, and Storm Capital also participated in the round.
Celes’ solution uses AI and data analytics with predictive modeling to help retailers manage inventory and promotions.
Celes will use the funds to improve the user experience of its platform, strengthen its presence in Mexico, and expand throughout Latin America.
“Celes stands out as a promising solution to the inefficiencies facing the supply chain of retailers and consumer goods companies. Its platform offers solutions to optimize inventory management and replenishment processes, addressing key needs in the retail industry,” said Femsa Ventures in a statement.
The SaaS platform operates in Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Guatemala, and Argentina.
