Brazilian fintech Credmei raised $8.1M through Credix, a DeFi marketplace for loans. Credmei is a fintech that utilizes machine learning to fund small and medium-sized businesses through receivable prepayment. The funds will be used to continue their expansion in Brazil.
“We want to support an even greater number of entrepreneurs throughout Brazil. Our focus is on companies that need capital to keep the wheels turning,” said Guilherme Ribeiro, CEO of CredMei.
Credmei was founded in 2013 and has leveraged the use of AI to carry out credit analyses and release funds in up to 5 minutes.
