TepMed, a Brazilian fintech specializing in financial solutions for healthcare clinics and hospitals, raised $3.6M from SRM Ventures.
TepMed will use the funds to provide additional capital for financing and reimbursement and grow its client base.
“With TepMed, we now have 12 companies in our portfolio… The health insurance market is large, but lacks specific financial services, which is why companies like TepMed, which provide financial solutions to the sector, are so relevant,” said André Szapiro, Head of SRM Ventures.
TepMed specializes in financial management, receivables anticipation, patient procedure financing, and banking. Their technology prevents fraud, increases cash flow, and reduces uncollected patient billings.
Since starting its operations in March 2023, Tepmed has provided $9.1M for financing and reimbursement. The fintech aims to grow its client base from 100 to 300 by the end of the fiscal year.
