Chilean tech marketplace Reuse raised a $4.5M seed round led by Seaya Cathay Latam. Dalus Capital, Ignia, Angel Hub, Compusoluciones Ventures, and Silence VC also participated in the round.
Reuse will put the money towards growing in Mexico.
Reuse is an end-to-end online marketplace for buying and selling refurbished electronics in Chile, Mexico, and Peru. Reuse partners with companies like Falabella, Coppel, and Samsung to resell devices returned in their trade-in programs.
“The market for used and refurbished electronics will only grow in Latin America as regulations and government initiatives for better customer protection increase product returns and the need to resell them. Reuse’s unique value proposition is helping major brands in the region face this new challenge,” said Federico Gómez Romero, Director at Seaya Cathay Latam.
Founded in 2018, Reuse surpassed $15M in sales in 2023.
