Chilean electromobility startup Movener raised a $2M Series A led by SQM Lithium Ventures, becoming the first Chilean company in SQM Lithium’s portfolio.
Movener will use the funds to expand its operations both in Chile and internationally, further develop its hybrid technology, and target a 25% reduction in fuel consumption for its converted trucks.
Movener’s conversion technology transforms traditional combustion-engine trucks into hybrid-electric vehicles, reducing fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation sector.
Founded in 2016, Movener’s partners include corporations like Walmart and Enel X.
