Crezes raises $750k in pre-seed funding

Mexican retail-tech Crezes raised a $750k pre-seed round led by Maya Capital. The round included angel investors such as Sebastián Monroy, Co-founder and CEO of Zubale, Stiven Rodriguez, Co-founder of Heru, Miguel Ocampo, Co-founder of Ozon, and Andrés Villaquirán, founder of Nomad.

With the round, Crezes will strengthen its operations in the Mexican retail sector.

“Traditionally, companies invest over $50,000 in opening a new retail outlet, without reliable data to ensure its success. Crezes addresses this challenge by providing accurate and up-to-date data, allowing companies to make informed decisions,” said Santiago Moreno, Co-founder of Crezes.

Crezes’ AI-powered platform analyzes pedestrian and vehicle flow, visitor demographics, and business performance to optimize location selection and reduce costs when opening new points of sale.
