Costa Rican startup Avify raised a pre-seed round of $800K from 500 Startups, Zemu VC, Ganas Ventures, Amplifica Capital, Venture DO, Qapu VC, and Caricaco.
Avify will use the funds to continue developing its conversational commerce engine and establish a network of contracts for consignment order management and physical points.
“We are excited to undertake projects that will benefit not only Avify but the numerous businesses in the region,” stated Pedro Gutiérrez, CEO and co-founder of Avify.
With Avify, SMBs can centralize their inventory and make sales directly within WhatsApp. All sales made through WhatsApp update in real-time to the SMBs’ other systems tracking e-commerce, marketplaces, warehouses, and physical points.
