Brazilian custom-made furniture startup Movêu raised $550K in a round led by Investidores.vc. GV Angels, Poli Angels, Patrick Sigrist (Nomad and iFood), Pedro Conrade (Neon), Alan Chusid (Spin Pay), Otávio Maluf Júnior, and Silvio Kożuchowicz (SKR) also participated in the round.
Movêu will use the funds to hire new people, develop new tech, increase its product portfolio, and raise brand awareness.
“With this investment, we will be able to make the customer journey even more customizable, offering more furniture options and a delightful experience for both the clients and the brand’s partners,” said Guilherme Kodja, Movêu’s Co-Founder and CEO.
Movêu is an e-commerce that allows customers to create and purchase personalized furniture, editing aspects like color, width and height. Movêu’s technology enables product assembly without nails or screws.
Founded in 2021, Movêu has sold over 700 pieces of furniture to more than 600 clients.
